3. Structural optimized design: annular cross-section design enhances bending stiffness, with dense internal structure (porosity <0.5%), effectively resisting fatigue failure;

4. Surface strengthening treatment: tooth surface carburizing and quenching (hardness HRC58-62) or sprayed wear-resistant coatings, improving anti-galling and corrosion resistance.

In a Φ4.6×110m rotary kiln, a ZG35CrMo cast steel ring gear (outer diameter Φ5800mm, height 500mm) is used to transmit torque through tooth meshing, supporting a cylinder weight of about 80 tons. After 4 years of operation, wear is less than 0.5mm, meeting the continuous operation requirements of mining.
