Transition Block

The transition block is composed of a set of multiple blocks arranged circumferentially along the rope guide plate at the inter-layer transition position. The transition blocks set at the rope guide plate serve two purposes: first, to reduce the impact on the hoisting container caused by the wire rope during inter-layer changes, ensuring smooth transition; second, to reduce wear between the wire rope and the rope guide plate during winding layer changes, thereby decreasing wire rope wear and extending its service life.

They are molded from polymer phenolic resin materials, featuring good heat resistance, high mechanical strength, excellent electrical insulation and high-temperature creep resistance, good moldability, and especially good flame retardancy, making them widely used in the mining field.
