The light soda ash kiln (self-recarbonation steam calcination kiln) is the core equipment for soda ash (sodium carbonate) production. It adopts the advanced "self-recarbonation" process, achieving high-temperature decomposition of sodium bicarbonate (heavy soda ash) and continuous production of light sodium carbonate (light ash) through indirect steam heating. The equipment integrates mechanical transmission, thermal energy utilization, and material circulation technologies, featuring high efficiency, low consumption, environmental protection, and stability. It is suitable for the calcination process in soda ash production by the combined soda process or ammonia-soda process.

Product Features

1. Self-Recarbonation Technology: Innovative design of the recarbonation device automatically recovers and returns alkaline substances (such as sodium carbonate dust) generated during decomposition back into the kiln, reducing raw material loss. Recarbonation rate ≥98%, reducing raw material consumption by 3-5%.

2. Indirect Steam Heating: Uses high-temperature steam (3.82-5.3MPa, 400-450°C) to heat the kiln chamber through coils, avoiding pollution caused by direct combustion and improving thermal efficiency by over 15%.

3. Low Energy Consumption Design: Optimizes kiln chamber structure and insulation layer (using alumina silicate fiber modules + lightweight bricks) to reduce heat loss, lowering comprehensive energy consumption to ≤1.2 GJ/t soda ash.

4. Continuous Production: Achieves full-process automation control of feeding, calcination, and discharging, with stable processing capacity and continuous operation time ≥7200 hours/year.

5. Environmental Performance: Equipped with flue gas dust removal, desulfurization, and denitrification systems, with emission indicators better than national standards (dust <10mg/Nm³, NOx <100mg/Nm³).

6. High Reliability: Key components (such as transmission system and sealing devices) use imported brands, with a failure rate <1%.

Product Functions

1. Material Conveying: Screw feeder uniformly feeds heavy soda ash (moisture content ≤2%) into the kiln chamber.

2. High-Temperature Decomposition: Kiln chamber temperature is 950-1050°C, decomposing heavy soda ash into light soda ash, carbon dioxide, and steam.

3. Recarbonation Recovery: Alkali dust is recovered through a cyclone separator and bag filter, then returned to the kiln head for reuse via a scraper conveyor.

4. Steam Generation: Hot gases generated by decomposition pass through a waste heat boiler to produce medium-pressure steam (1.27-1.5MPa, 250-300°C) for workshop use.

5. Product Cooling: Light ash is transported by a chain plate conveyor to a cooler, indirectly cooled with water to ≤100°C to prevent caking.

6. Automatic Control: PLC system monitors temperature, pressure, speed, and other parameters in real time, supporting remote operation and fault alarms.
