









The splined gear shaft is an integrated design composed of a "gear section" and a "spline section":
- Gear section: Machined with standard involute tooth profiles (module, pressure angle, and number of teeth customizable), achieving speed reduction, speed increase, or change of motion direction through gear meshing.
- Spline section: Machined with high-precision splines (such as rectangular splines or involute splines), mating with the corresponding splined hub to achieve axial fixation and torque transmission, allowing some axial displacement and angular compensation.
- Manufacturing process: Forged steel blank → CNC precision machining (gear tooth profile, spline tooth profile, shaft journal) → Heat treatment (carburizing and quenching or quenching and tempering to improve surface hardness and wear resistance) → Precision grinding of tooth profile/spline → Quality inspection (tooth profile accuracy, spline fit tolerance).
- Features: Integrated design reduces the number of parts and improves transmission efficiency; gear and spline work collaboratively with high load capacity; module, number of teeth, spline parameters, etc., can be customized according to working conditions.

Scope of Application
1. Automotive industry: transmission input shaft, output shaft, differential gear shaft.

3. Construction machinery: drive axle gear shafts for excavators, cranes, loaders.
4. Energy machinery: wind power gearboxes, petroleum drilling equipment drive shafts.
5. Special scenarios: high-precision machine tool spindles (helical spline gear shafts), high-frequency vibration equipment (requiring high rigidity spline design).
Working Principle
1. Gear transmission: The torque from the motor or prime mover is transmitted to the gear section of the splined gear shaft through gear meshing, driving the shaft to rotate; speed reduction or increase is achieved through the gear tooth ratio.
2. Spline connection: The spline section mates with the corresponding splined hub (such as bearing housing, coupling), transmitting torque from the shaft to the hub while allowing slight axial displacement and angular compensation between the shaft and hub.
3. Collaborative operation: The gear section is responsible for motion and power transmission, the spline section for torque transmission and axial positioning; together they complete complex transmission tasks (such as the shaft in the picture mating with a bearing, where the spline section supports the bearing inner ring and the gear section transmits power).
