Working Principle

The main motor drives the grinding table through a reducer. Air enters the mill through the air inlet. Materials are fed from the spiral feeder inlet to the center of the grinding table. Under the action of centrifugal force, the materials move evenly from the center to the edge of the grinding table. When passing through the grinding roller path area on the grinding table, the materials are crushed by the grinding rollers. Large pieces of material are directly crushed, while fine particles are squeezed to form a material bed for inter-particle crushing. The crushed materials continue to move towards the edge of the grinding table until they are carried away by the strong airflow at the air ring. Larger particles fall back onto the grinding table for further crushing. When the materials in the airflow pass through the separator at the top, the coarse particles return to the grinding table under the action of the separator blades. The qualified fine powder exits the mill with the airflow and is collected by the system's dust collector. The collected powder is the product ground by the vertical mill. Iron blocks and other impurities mixed in the materials, due to their large weight, cannot be blown away when they move to the edge of the grinding table. They fall into the lower chamber of the mill and are scraped into the slag discharge port by the scraper installed at the bottom of the grinding table and discharged from the machine.
