Rod mills are mainly used for the processing and crushing of ore materials such as potassium feldspar, quartz stone, and pebbles. Steel rods rotate with the mill, rising to a certain height and being thrown down under the action of friction and centrifugal force, causing the materials to continuously be impacted to form sand.

Working Principle
The rod mill is driven by a motor through a reducer and peripheral large gear deceleration transmission, or directly through a low-speed synchronous motor through a peripheral large gear deceleration transmission to drive the cylinder to rotate. The cylinder is filled with appropriate grinding media - steel rods. Under the action of centrifugal force and friction, the grinding media are lifted to a certain height and fall in a throwing or oblique falling state. The material to be ground continuously enters the inside of the cylinder from the feed port, is crushed by the moving grinding media, and is discharged from the machine by the overflow and the power of continuous feeding to carry out the next stage of operation.
