The mill is an important equipment in the grinding process, mainly used for grinding materials to obtain products with the required fineness. It is widely used in industries such as power, ferrous (non-ferrous) metal and non-metal mineral processing, chemical engineering, and building materials.
According to the different grinding media loaded, it can be divided into ball mills, rod mills, and autogenous mills without media.
According to the discharge method, it can be divided into: wet grid type, dry grid type, and overflow type.
According to the transmission form, it can be divided into: edge drive and center drive, with the former being more commonly used.
According to the driving form:
a. Asynchronous motor drive: asynchronous motor + reducer + small gear + large gear.
b. Synchronous motor drive: synchronous motor + air clutch + small gear + large gear.
c. Asynchronous motor + reducer + diaphragm coupling.
The main bearing of the mill can use sliding bearings, rolling bearings, and shoe bearings as needed.
The mill lining can use wear-resistant metal linings, rubber linings, magnetic linings, and alumina linings (i.e., high-alumina bricks).
As needed, it can be equipped with slow-speed drive devices, high and low pressure lubrication stations, automatic spray lubrication devices for transmission gears, lifting devices, and PLC control systems.
